You need the files below. You can download them from the url behind the file name. You have to copy the files in the directories write
down behind the filenames.
Zlib_1.1.2_arm.ipk has to be installed within the console with the command written down behind the filename.

don't forget to chmod lynx

After every file is in place and you chmod lynx you can use lynx on your zaurus. The reason that I was so eager to get lynx running was that I want to use it in combination with /usr/bin/flite16k.
You have to chmod flite16k the same way as lynx. Until now I didn't succeed because the meta info of a webpage is read by flite16k and not he actual content of the site.

flite16k -f file.txt this works fine but is not exactly what I had in mind. The advantage is that I can delete text before I listen to the file.

          A simple Opie-SH front end

generates a index.html file pointing to all processed dump files, and
then allows you to run Konqueor, Opera or Elinks to view the resulting

A freeware tool to trace TCP/UDP/... sessions and fetch
application data from snoop or tcpdump logs. This is a type of
"any-snarf" program, as it will
fetch telnet sessions, FTP files, HTTP transfers (HTML, GIF, JPEG,
...),
SMTP emails, ... from the captured data inside network traffic logs.
A html index file is created that links to all the session details,
including realtime replay programs for telnet, rlogin, IRC, X11 or VNC
sessions; and reports such as image reports and HTTP GET/POST content
reports.
Chaosreader can also run in standalone mode - where it invokes tcpdump
or snoop (if they are available) to create the log files and then
processes them.

mtr

About: mtr is an advanced traceroute program

mtr combines the functionality of the 'traceroute' and 'ping' programs in a single network diagnostic tool.

As mtr starts, it investigates the network connection between the host mtr runs on and a user-specified destination host. After it determines the address of each network hop between the machines, it sends a sequence ICMP ECHO requests to each one to determine the quality of the link to each machine. As it does this, it prints running statistics about each machine.

OpenZaurus users may need to symlink libncurses.so.4 to point at libncurses.so.5 which may cause some problems, but will work fine with mtr and some other ncurses4 apps such as kismet.

Mysql Database

Now modified to have the mysql.sock file created in /tmp rather than alink from there. This solves the problme with "localhost" access from apache.php. added a patch ipk to rpelace the config files

I have assembled this ipk from the debian-arm distribution. When used with the apache+php package it enables you to use a large number of php/mysql scripts on the zaurus. everything from a large address books to inventories or complete accounts packages.

About: A network activity monitor for the Qtopia taskbar.

This is a little taskbar applet that adds a couple of little LED-style indicators to the Qtopia taskbar - these flash to show activity on a network interface. A specific interface to monitor can be selected (eg. eth0, ppp0, etc), or you can select to show activity on all interfaces at the same time.

Hello, thank you for your enquiry. Development was suspended on this device because of the lack of customer interest. We don't foresee at the moment any plan to restart development on it because of the priorities that we have with the current software. In the future, we would like to see NX on PDAs, if not the Zaurus, and this will no doubt become reality once the software is at that stage when we are able to concentrate resources on porting to other platforms. At the moment, the only way to realize such a port would be via NoMachine's Professional Services as a custom project. If this interests you, then please contact the Sales team.
